非洲的深紫陸寄居蟹(=藍紫陸寄居蟹=Coenobita violascens)特徵

在網站品種介紹也有寫過, 非洲(主要是東非)的深紫陸寄居蟹(=藍紫陸寄居蟹=Coenobita violascens), 左螯腳腕節著有的深色'S'型紋或者是這品種的其中一個主要特徵.

最近找到了片段, 追踪拍片的位置是island Nosy Iranja, 是位於馬達加斯加, 可清楚看到其特徵.

Coenobita lila不等於深紫陸寄居蟹/藍紫陸寄居蟹

有蟹友詢問, 深紫陸寄居蟹和藍紫陸寄居蟹是否不同??? 

Coenobita violascens坊問被稱為深紫陸寄居蟹(此名稱是本人照日本原意''コムラサキ''所譯, 非學名), 其後台灣正式命名中文學名為藍紫陸寄居蟹.

最近新發現的品種Coenobita lila, 中文名是淡紫陸寄居蟹(這個中文名暫時只是便於科普文章的使用，資料來源: 施習德教授), 名稱也很相似, 但並不是深紫陸寄居蟹或藍紫陸寄居蟹.

以下照片也許是一個提示, Singapore也有Coenobita violascens(藍紫陸寄居蟹).
