Overseas crab lovers believed that Indonesian blueberry was same as Coenobita purpurerus which found in Japan.

In 2010, I pointed out in HCA Coenobita purpureus in Japan and Indonesian blueberry may be a different speices.
 

From Jan to Apr of 2016, while I was collecting information about Coenobita species, I found a seminar (2015) in Singapore about Hermit crabs of Singapore. The specimen in that poster should be same as the specimen (Indonesian blueberry) found in Indonesia. In Singapore, this species were always misidentified as Coenobita violascnes. So, this may proof that I was right. XD
